Charitable Giving: End-of-Year Things To Know

As the end of 2023 rolls around, we’re frequently asked about end-of-year charitable giving. To help answer questions and frame expectations, we’ve assembled this simple guide to prepare for the charitable giving season—making sure you have everything you need to give successfully.

Granting Best Practices

Get ahead of your holiday season by scheduling seasonal grants ahead of time. Recommend your grant by Tuesday, November 28th, to ensure year-end processing.

Increase your granting efficiency online by using the grant again feature for charities where you previously recommended grants.

Sustain support for your favorite charities and save time in the future. Schedule recurring grants over an extended period of time. You can skip or cancel any of your recurring grants online.

Consider participating in #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving, scheduled for Tuesday, November 28.
